Finally feeling better!

Two weeks of sick kids................YUCK!  I don't do sick well.  And I really don't do prolonged sickness at all.  My poor children.  Some people said it was hand, foot, and mouth.  Others thought it might be herpes 1.  And our neighbor even said (with certainty) it was trench mouth. (Google that one.  I did and rushed the kids right to the dentist to make sure it wasn't!).  I still have no idea exactly what it was, other than a mouth full of painful sores.  A virus that lasts at least ten days.  Henry suffered from it in September.  No one else got it and we were feeling pretty lucky.  Russ went out of town for work for 8 days and the first day he was gone, Chris started complaining about not feeling well.  He had a fever and the next morning woke up with sores in his mouth.  5 days later, June started feeling sick and the next day, Eliza.  Eliza and June were home from school for an entire week.  But, as of this morning, everyone can eat again, and drink, and smile, and talk, and even brush their teeth.  In the thick of things you get discouraged and down, but there is always, always, always, light at the end of the tunnel.  In moments like this, difficult, stressful times, I am thankful for an eternal perspective of things.  And I am thankful for an awesome husband who is so helpful and loving.  And thank goodness for cute kids who make all of this work worth while!!!!

Because I didn't post any Halloween pictures.

Balance practice.  We have a few naturals!

Passing the time when no one feels like doing anything: making goo, sleeping, watching for Henry to come home (he was the only that felt up to going to school for a week), and making sugar cookies.
