A past due update

STEAM EXPO
2014
My kids rock!  Eliza and Henry are so smart and such good kids.  I love them to pieces.
Henry's expo project was on electromagnets and Eliza (with her friend Avery) did catapults.  They both had tons of fun and are already making plans for next year.

General Conference weekend was fantastic.  Russ and I actually did a good job of staying relaxed and going with the flow.  The children were awesome and paid attention to some of the talks.  Recipe for a great conference: crepes, play dough, graham crackers, and chocolate chip cookies!

Russ and I have done just a few things around the house.  When we moved in, the master bedroom closet was bare......no shelf, no bar, nothing.  Russ did a fantastic job putting in a shelf, divider, and multiple bars.  Now the clothes and shoes and everything else aren't in a huge pile in our room.  I finally got vinyl letters on our height board and screwed it up to the wall.  And I mounted our big family picture onto a piece of wood.  I have always wanted a huge family picture.  I love it on our mantel!!! And this week, we had the roof replaced on our garage.

We have been loving our nicer days.  I love this time of year when the children want to play outside all evening.  It's hard to make them come inside and do homework or chores.  We have also been enjoying our fire pit.  I told Russ I might not get much done this spring and summer because I would rather stand outside by the fire than come in to do chores!
