February Birthday Bash

I am here.  I am alive.  Life is good...........it's just been busy so I haven't written on the blog!  But, I have caught up seven scrapbooks!  It's always my goal at the beginning of every year to get the scrapbooks caught up.  This year it was just a little bit bigger project...SEVEN.  I do a scrapbook for every child and one for Russ and I.  And since I don't want to get behind, I started Samuel and Ruth's scrapbooks!  I love scrapbooking.  I enjoy documenting our lives through photos.  And the children really enjoy looking at all their pictures.

 

And the beginning of February is always intense for me.  Two birthdays on one day is wonderful, exciting, and extremely fun.  But it also wears a momma out.  Thankfully, the last two years, Russ has taken it really easy on me and requested a pineapple upside down cake, so I've only had to frost one.  Also, Russ has never requested a different theme than Henry, he just goes with the flow which I'm very grateful for!

 Some years, Henry has had his own party in the afternoon and then we have families over in the evening.  But this year, we combined for one party.

 

 Russ made the pinata.  I've never figured out what draws people to pinatas, but whatever it is, it makes for a really good time!!!!

Happy 34th birthday to my wonderful and amazing husband!  happy 7th birthday to my adorable crazy son!
