So, we had dessert night at our house with a few friends. We really just wanted to see how many children could actually fit on our bench that Russ made for me for Christmas. We think it will hold our six just nicely!!!! And hopefully we will have a feast of yummy desserts just like this to serve them every night................just kidding of course!
Henry is signed up for the STEM Expo which will be held on March 23 at the high school. Russell is helping learn about reinforced concrete with legos. I'm not sure who is more excited:)They built some bridge spans and then tested how much weight they could hold before breaking.
It's exciting when they hold alot!!! Everyone is having a good time helping Henry with his expirement. Eliza is also doing an expirement with her friend from school. They have been growing crystals.
And while we were having fun helping Henry, Darth Vader attacked and tied up Luke. He needed a little bit of help getting out, but then he was fine!
And, thanks to the wonderful world of Pinterest, I have been a little crafty around here. I took the old filing cabinet and.......
...spary painted it. I also spray painted the tall filing cabinet and put them back in the girl's room.
The filing cabinets have always been in their room, but now they look cute and girly and more like decorations than office furniture. I also rearranged their room and put in some shelving and now there is room for Ruth's bed, which will be coming soon.
I made two shelves, with some help from my awesome husband, for our room.
One is four feet and the other is twelve feet. I found an old book shelf and painted it white and added it to the side of the bed. So much more practically for me than just a little night stand.
Filled up the tubes..........
and put them in the freezer. TADA...homemade gogurts and the children love them!!!
I also did a little handy work in the boys' room. Hung up an old pair of cross country skiis, spray painted some cookie sheets to hang art work on with magnets, and added some cute baseball decorations to their room. (And did I mention that our legos have now been sorted for three whole weeks! It's been fabulous!)
