I didn't last very long with out a camera. Russ could tell it was bothering me, so we bought a new one!!!! Yeah. I love taking pictures of my family. And I love sharing our adventures through photos.
This is how we carry babies now and still get the work done around here!
Mom and Ruth after church. Still smiling or at least trying too.
Chris turned 4 this week and had such a fun and exciting birthday.
Daddy made him a gun.
I made him a yummy ice-cream cake!!!!
Samuel is gaining confidence every day. I can sit on the bench at the park and he will climb the steps and go down the slide by himself. This is a huge step for him!
Ruth does a good job at playing creatively.
And every once in a while, they play together!
This weekend we went camping and huckleberry picking. Samuel's new word for the day was "Huckleberry"! June did the best job at actually putting huckleberries into her bucket when she picked them.
Ruth helped out the best she could....even picking while she napped!
These two ate most of what they picked. There was no denying it with their blue mouths and empty buckets:)
Chris hiked all over the mountain side imagining that his ship had crashed in the mud and the pirates or bears, or something absolutely ferocious was going to get his ship.
Russ continued to pick while I took down camp and made the fire for lunch. He picked almost as many berries in that half hour as we had with the whole family picking. (Told you Eliza and Henry were eating them all!)
But lets be honest, the dirt was by far the most fun of the whole camping trip!
We did hike about 1/3 of a mile. Some may say that it was a "forced march", but Daddy sure had a great time heading up to one of his favorite spots. I would have picked more huckleberries and I think the kids were upset that they had to leave their dirt pile. But in the end, we had a great time and I'm so happy that I was able to get some good pictures of our adventure!
Eliza did a pretty good job picking Huckleberries too I would say.
