Our camera broke two weeks ago.  I have no pictures of our fun and wonderful camping trip to Lindbergh Lake or our exciting rafting trip down the Missouri River.  I've been using my iPad to take pictures, but just wasn't comfortable taking it out in the water.  Besides it is pretty bulky for picture taking.  But I have captured a few of the children playing. 

 

 I spent four days up in the Highwoods camping with the young women from church.  The only picture I took was of the lovely scenery.  It was a beautiful camp and as always when I'm in the mountains, I felt much closer to my Heavenly Father.  I am so grateful for this beautiful world He created for me! 

 

Last week we went to our favorite park.  Samuel and Ruth love swings and slides and they tried out the merry-go-round, but I'm not sure how much they liked it.  Ruth loves to pull things out of the cupboard and carry them around the house or make them into stools.  Our garden is not the best this year.  The peas and beans have struggled.  We have zucchini galore though.  (Why does zucchini always do better than anything else?)  We were able to pick enough beans for our dinner and the kids love beans...........fresh, cooked, or canned.  I need a whole back yard of green beans, I think!
