Samuel's first haircut from mom. Turned out to be WAY easier than I thought it was going to be.
We went to my parents. Nothing too spectacular about that, except this is the closest Sam has voluntarily gotten to an animal.
These girls are good helpers and love spending time together.
Ruth is a horse lover!!! True girl.
Henry got a mouth full of sores. Didn't go away for two weeks. He was miserable, but trying to still enjoy life.
Eliza got to dissect owl pellets in her classroom and I volunteered to help. Can't let these school kids have all the fun!!!
We went to Utah and had to go to BYU!!! Us and our minions made quite a scene on campus.
My brother and his beautiful wife were sealed for all eternity in the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple. Congratulations to them. It was a beautiful day.
Ruth picking out her pumpkin.
We painted and carved pumpkins.
Had a few friends over to enjoy the fun!
This was the first year that we let the older three carve their own pumpkins.
They loved it and did an excellent job. Henry and Eliza did theirs all by themselves. June needed a little help.
And Chris made his into a spooky pumpkin.
Eliza's artistic ability shines through in everything she does.
This was the best leaf raking year ever. We had a huge pile of leaves for the littles to jump into.
King for a second!
It doesn't take this guy very long to figure out what to do!
Ruth, on the other hand, always has to give everything a good taste before she decides what to do with it.
Henry and his buddy wrestling in the leaves.
One day it's fall, the next, it's winter. That's how we roll around here.
First time playing in the snow. These cuties have to ride in the wagon to the bus stop.
And Chris chose to ski!
Of course, Ruth tasted it first and then jumped in.
And Sam practically went in head first. And with out any prompting from anyone, Sam scooped up a glove full of snow and threw it at me. Where do they learn this stuff!?!
Fine tuning their skiing skills so that they will be ready when we hit the trails!
Winter has begun and we are super excited!
