This is huge people. I mean huge. Our attic is full, our living room is full, our garage is full, the front deck is full and the we are spilling out into the driveway. I thank each of you who have donated items for our garage sale. I also thank those who are so graciously baking yummy treats for our bake sale. This is amazing. You know those garage sales you go to that are advertised as big multi-family sales? Well, we are totally having one of those. But it's just our family and our itty bitty lawn. And instead of planning to go to the store right away and buy something really cool with the money we make at our garage sale, we will be putting all the money into our adoption fund and saving it for the day that we are able to go to Uganda and finalize our adoption. An international adoption costs a lot of money and I read other people's blogs that have gone through the process and they've been able to raise almost enough funds to pay for the whole adoption through fundraising alone. I don't know if Russ and I will be able to do that. I don't really know if we want to. We've got a little bit of pride in the fact that we've saved so much to be able to do this. So, it's humbling to see the generosity of friends and family and the goodness of the Lord to bless us with the things that we need, that we can't do alone. Thank you for your help. Thank you for your support.
If anyone is available on Friday, May 25th, from 12pm-2pm, we are in need of assistance to get everything out of the house and set up. And remember to spread the word:
