When Russ returned home from work, he brought me some beautiful red roses. Red roses are Russ's favorite flower but I only receive them on very special occassions because he knows that I like a lot of other flowers.
I covered our bedroom door in hearts with love messages on them. After discovering that the traditional gift for the tenth anniversary is tin or aluminum, I made a little tin plaque and punched the word "ten" on it.
We had a wonderful baby-sitter watch the children and we went out for the afternoon and evening. We did a bunch of random things and ate at a mexican restaurant and then came home and had dessert.....homemade ice-cream and brownies!
Happy ten years of marriage sweetheart! I love you more than words can say!
I really shouldn't read stuff like this because it always makes me think, "My husband never does stuff like that for me!" Russell has a unique gift. He's a keeper. Happy anniversary (a month late).
