I'm going to get a coconut!
This is how I see myself when I walk with my kids:)
A few pictures from the last two weeks. Fun family nights. Silly girls. End of school. My father's retirement.
Family Home Evening treat... ice-cream that's so good you have to lick the bowl!
Russ was craving lemon meringue pie. So he made one. It finished baking a little too late in the evening, so we ate it for breakfast!!!
Chris got an owie on his forehead. About three days later, he said he needed a bandaid and wanted to put it on himself. It sure made that owie feel better!!!
Eliza and her friend were in the school talent show. They did awesome. Real talent right there. Eliza sang "I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee."
We celebrated my father's retirement. 43 years of teaching art and music to hundreds and hundreds of students. He is truly amazing.
Only two requirements are necessary to turn a gathering into a party. One: singing. Two: ice-cream! I made 5 gallons of ice-cream. Lucky for us, there was some left over!!
But truly, the best thing about the weekend, was being together as a family. All of my siblings and there families were there. I love when we are together. And Chris got to hold his new cousin!
