Eliza's Baptism

Eliza was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 21, 2012.  Russ's parents came up from Jefferson City, MT.  Russ's sister, Janet, and her family came up from Helena, MT.  And my parents and all of my brothers and their families came to take part in this special occasion.  My parents and Aaron and his family traveled from Townsend, MT.  Micah and Nichole from Helena, MT.  Mathew and Allissa from Harlowton, MT.  And Andrew drove up from Laramie, WY where he is attending Wyo-Tech. I don't know if it is this way for every family, but whenever the word "picture" is mentioned a chorus of whining insues......from the adults!  I love family pictures.

Eliza's friend , Kara Bakly, was baptized the same day.  Eliza and Kara have been in nursery and primary together since we moved into the Great Falls 3rd ward.  They are pretty good buddies.  Eric Bakly baptized Kara first, and then Russ baptized Eliza.  My dad, Chris Christensen, gave a talk on baptism and Kara's brother, Joseph, gave a talk on the Holy Ghost.  Each girl received the gift of the Holy Ghost after being baptized.  Dennis Lay, Chris Christensen, Micah, Aaron, Mathew and Andrew Christensen, Ross Wilkins, Eric Bakly, Reese Riggin and Cliff Holmes joined Russ in the circle as he confirmed Eliza.  To learn more about baptism and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, go to http://www.lds.org/?lang=eng.

These are Eliza's cousins that attended her baptism:  Tyler, Sarah, Ryan, Dallin, Anna, Samantha, Logan, Luke, Rebecca, Timothy, Zach and Claire.  We were so excited to have them and missed those who were unable to come!
