We took a trip to Cardston Alberta over the weekend. We visited the Cardston Temple. Our friends went with us and we took turns watching each other's children and going inside the temple to do some ordinance work.
We went to the Remington Carriage Museum. Almost all of the carriages are from one man's collection. And there were hundreds. (Not sure of the actual number.) It was hard to get a good picture because all the lighting was pointed directly on the carriages themselves, but the camera wanted to use the flash when I focused on the children. Maybe if I had a few million minutes to read the manual on the camera, I would figure out how to fix that, but it didn't happen for this trip.
There were a couple instructional videos throughout the museum. Eliza watched one on how to drive a team of horses and she is convinced that she could really do it!
The children rode in the "Red Caboose", a horse drawn school bus!
And the highlight was going on an actual carriage ride. All the children loved it and thankfully, none of them fell out!
It was a pleasure having two extra children along. NO ONE even asked if they were all ours. They just assumed they were because they fit in so well with our bunch. We really need two more children to join our family. Oh Uganda.........please send us a referral!!!

What a beautiful temple and a fun day!
