I love when the kids have school out!! It's so fun to get to play with them and not have to worry about homework and chores and schedule and routine! Ok....who am I kidding. Of course we still had routine and chores, but no homework was really nice!!
And it helped that the weather was nice......a little (lot) windy, but warm enough to play outside.
We enjoyed playing at the park. It's so nice that my children are big enough that when one of them wants to swing, I feel comfortable with leaving the other three at the play set instead of making all of them go the swings at the same time.
Thank heavens for sidewalk chalk. It made this one really happy. She enjoys being outside, but she doesn't always want to jump, run, and climb. She is content when she is drawing and reading.
This one is a climber, and a jumper, and a runner!!!! I can't keep up.
Of course, we had to do some shadow dancing and chasing and running and hiding to see if our shadows could keep up.
Dinner was no ordinary spaghetti. Huge hit. They loved it. Blue needed a little more color though.
And we made some sand art. But it wasn't really sand. We dyed salt with colored chalk. So, I guess it's colored salt art.
