It all starts with the cake! I love making birthday cakes for my children. So far they have been satisfied with the results. As long as they don't want anything too fancy, I'm willing to do what they request. Although, I have entertained the thought of coming up with one easy, yummy dessert and serving that for every birthday. I doubt that would go over, since we have already given them the chance to choose their birthday cakes. This year, June wanted Rainbow Stripes!
All the children were so excited about June having a birthday that they hardly slept the night before and were up bright and early at 5:30 ready to have June open her presents:)
And she loved them!
Russ made June a special box. It turned out gorgeous and is a really cute design.
The party was a huge success. A few friends came to help celebrate and wish her a happy birthday. Cake was good.
And the ice-cream delicious, of course!!!
Everyone went home happy and the children went to bed with tummies full of yummy birthday cake! Now onto Thanksgiving and then we leave for Ghana in 8 days!!!!
