Biometrics

Fun and fabulous would be the two words I would choose to describe our last two days. Friday morning we woke the kids up and hit the road for a trip to The Homeland Security office. We let the kids come with us and they were super excited about a day out of school. The USCIS office requires fingerprints to be on file with the FBI before they give approval for us to adopt internationally. We really didn't know what to expect.......we've never had that done before. We were just told the date and time to be there for our biometrics appointment. We were amazed that we were able to have all the information gathered and fingerprints taken in less than twenty minutes. Russ and I glanced at each other and exchanged thoughts. "Are we in the right place?". "Is this a US government office?". But that was really it.

Fortunate for us, we were in Helena and had the opportunity to see Grammy and Papa Lay and M, W, C, N Vincent family. We went to the carousel and then had lunch at I hop.
