It's official...........

Russ and I are the parents of SIX children!
The Ghanaian Court approved the adoption of Samuel and Ruth.

We couldn't be more excited.  We have a few more steps, some more paperwork to fill out and file with the US Embassy, then some waiting, and hopefully in less than six months we will be able to return to Ghana and bring them home to be with our family.
This has been and continues to be a very long and expensive process.  The estimated cost for one international adoption from Ghana is $30,000.  Since we are adopting two children, by the end of the process we will have paid over $60,000.  By the powers of the Lord, we have been financially blessed throughout this process.  We have been able to save a significant portion of the cost.  We have done two fundraisers and raised about $7,000.  With the approval of the adoption by the court, our last large payment is due.  Then we just have a few small things that need to be paid for and our travel to bring the children home. We know that Christmas time can be tight for many and that there are so many others in need of assistance, but if you would like to make a donation to our adoption we would grately appreciate it.  You can make a donation through the paypal link on our blog page or you can mail a check.
We love you and your family.  We thank you for the continued support.  May God bless you as He has us.  This is the most wonderful time of the year, and today, we feel truly blessed!
